Bhangra/Bollywood Workshop with Christine Garvin

The Punjabi dance called “Bhangra” is a shake your shoulders, bounce your feet, and smile like crazy practice of gratitude for what we harvest in our lives. It’s also an incredibly spiritual, energetic, and joyous workout! Bollywood combines both classical and folk Indian dance with jazz, hip hop, and other Western styles to create musical-style dances. Focus on cardio in the first hour with a simple but vigorous lesson in Bhangra, and cool it down (and take it over the top) with a Bollywood lesson in the second hour. A great way to get to know both of these awesome dance forms! Suitable for both women and men
