If you've been curious about Ayurveda or have heard about the three doshas of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha then come to this workshop for an introductory discussion of Ayurveda. It will cover the basic concepts of Ayurveda and provide a few tips for navigating spring.
Ayurveda is a sanskrit word meaning “the study or science of life”. It is a 5000 year old system of well being and longevity. Ayurveda recognizes that we are affected by the cycles of nature and looks to bring us back into alignment with those cycles. In Ayurveda, each person is viewed as unique and the individual circumstances of each person are taken into consideration. By living a lifestyle and eating a diet that is appropriate to our unique natures, we are able to maintain optimal well-being.
